The search by author field is being very inconsistent. For example if I search all forums for “Martin” I get several results, while “Zach” returns none.
The search by author field operates on usernames, not display name.
Right now the author search on the forums goes by username. This is unintuitive, as many judges have a username that isn’t their actual name, and no one sees their username unless they go to that judge’s profile and look.
Merged and recategorized. I’m looking in to this.
