In online exam questions the card texts always were clickable and used to flipp to show the actual picture of the printed card. They are still clickable but the card just turns around and the text is now mirrored instead of showing the card face. Can this be reverted for candidates that need the visual help of actually seeing the card?
Uh, works for me. You have any examples? We just pull the images from gatherer.
I tried again and I had now a couple of questions that initially showed the above described behaviour again but after a couple of seconds loaded the image. Maybe just a gatherer hickup earlier then.

It happens again, see Arman’s comment to question 826 ( https://apps.magicjudges.org/exams/view_question/826 ) Shock doesn’t have the picture right now.
This seems to be an issue with Shock in particular. It will be fixed in the next update.
